Vaikuntha Ekadasi falls on Dhanurmasa Shukla Ekadasi. This day is also popular as Mukkoti Ekadasi. It is believed that Vaikunta Dwaram is open on this day. So devotees of Bhagavan Vishnu observe god through the northern side gate of the temple in the early morning of this auspicious day to attain salvation by reaching Vaikunth.

The school provided an opportunity to visit Balaji Temple, Balaji Nagar, Ballari, on Monday, 2 January, 2023 for the students of classes VIII to X on the auspicious occasion of Vaikunta Ekadashi to seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu by offering prayers to Him. The spiritual guide Ms. Kamakshi, the Chief Mr. K. Anil Babu, the Pragyana wing in-charge teacher Mr. Shashidhara, the music teacher Ms. Ashwini, kannada teacher Mr. Mahendra and assistant teacher Ms. Geetha Y. accompanied them. All the participants came to school in white traditional clothing and left for the temple by school buses at about 9:30 a.m.

As Vaikunta Ekadasi is of great importance to Lord Vishnu, the students chanted Sri Vishnusahasranama Stotra, the 5th chapter of Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Guru Paduka Stotra, Keshava Nama, Hanuman Chalisa, Shanthi Mantras, Govinda Namas and performed some Bhajans with great devotion and integrity in their hearts. The pupils participated in meditation as a part of this programme, doing it twice at 5 minutes intervals each. They spent nearly 2½ hours in the temple and felt the positive vibrations and energy of the sacred place. The programme concluded almost at 12:50 p.m.

Following the programme, all the students and staff had Supreme Lord Sri Venkateshwara's Uttara Dwara Darshanam and sensed His blessings. The prasadam was thereafter distributed to all the participants as a token of the Lord’s benedictions.
