Road safety is the safety of the people from roadside injuries and accidents. It is the prevention and protection of road accidents by using all road safety measures. To minimize the accidents, road safety has been one of the greatest concerns for every living being.  

On Wednesday, 21 December 2022, the Foundation Centre I organised a festival on the theme Road Safety. The main objective of the festival was to acknowledge the students about the importance of road safety by following the traffic rules. 

The programme included two parts of which the first one is the stage performance by the students and the second is the exhibition. 

The program was started by lighting the ceremonial lamp by the teachers. The sub-themes of the theme were traffic rules, traffic lights, traffic police and traffic signs. The programme included anchoring, rhymes, dances and video-watch by the students. 80 students took part in this celebration which made it very colourful, joyful and informative to the students. 

Students were taken to visit the exhibition where pictures related to road safety, models of vehicles, pictures related to traffic lights, traffic policeman and traffic signs were displayed.    

Students of Nursery, L.Kg. and U.Kg. were taken out to play games related to the theme. 

The Centre Festival on the theme – Road Safety was a learning experience for the students to know about the importance of traffic rules and how our responsible riding and driving can protect ourselves and others.
