Modes of transport is the way where people, goods and animals are moved from one place to another. Transport facilities are used according to the chosen mode. If we need to travel from one area to another, we use a train, bus, car or we can also travel by boat, ship or aircraft. These are just a few of the many types and modes of transportation that we use to travel from one place to another in the world. Transportation is one of the inevitable necessities for a comfortable living. 

On Wednesday, 26 July 2023, the Foundation Centre I organised a festival on the theme Modes of Transport. The main objective of the festival was to acknowledge the students about the importance of transport and different modes of transport.

The programme comprised of two parts – first the stage performance by the students and second the exhibition. 

The programme on the stage was started by lighting the ceremonial lamp by the teachers. The sub-themes of the theme were the meaning of modes of transport, land transport, air transport and water transport. The programme included anchoring, dances and watching video-clips by the students. 70 students took part in this celebration which made it very colourful, cheerful and informative to the students.

After the stage performance, students were taken to visit the exhibition where in different modes of transport were exhibited. 

The Centre Festival on the theme – Modes of Transport, was a great learning experience for the students to know about different vehicles used to travel or transport people or goods from one place to another.
