An animal kept for company or entertainment is called a pet. Pets are well known for their stunning appearance, lively nature, and loyalty. With the significance given to pets every year a pet show is organised to raise awareness of the need to protect and recognise animals as the members of the family and friends.

On Wednesday, 04 September 2024.The Pet Show was organised for the students of Classes Nursery to IX. This show includes the participation of pet groups like dogs, cats, tortoises, fish and rabbits. The pets are categorised into two the first category is of dogs and cats; the second category is of fish, tortoises and rabbits.

The programme started at 1:30 p.m. by welcoming the guest cum judge Dr. Nagraj N.P. Dr. Nagraj N.P. is serving as a veterinary doctor in a government hospital, Kappagal. The guest addressed the gathering bringing awareness about the importance of active and regular Immunization for healthy pets to keep them away from viral diseases such as rables.

26 students participated in the show with great excitement with their beloved pets. The participant and their pets were assessed by the judge based on the evaluation criteria, which also included requisite questions addressed by the participants and examining of the pets. The two pets with the most points in each category were crowned the winners.

The gathering enjoyed the amusing antics of the pets with some wishing to have pets in future. Thus, "The Pet Show" was organized hoping to have inspired the crowd to get a pet and appreciate having them as their companion.
