A Report on PET SHOW Competition 2025-2026
The Pet Show was a delightful and heart-warming event that brought together pet lovers and their adorable companions. The show aimed to celebrate the special bond between humans and animals while promoting kindness, responsibility, and awareness about pet care. The event was filled with fun, excitement and moments of pure joy, making it a memorable experience for all involved. This event not only showcased the diverse talents and personalities of the pets but also highlighted the importance of responsible pet care and the joy that animals bring to our lives.
On Wednesday, 03 September 2025, the Pet Show was organised for the students of Classes Nursery to IX. This show includes the participation of pet groups like dogs, cats, tortoises, fish and rabbits. The pets are categorised into two the first category is of dogs and cats, the second category is of fish, tortoises and rabbits.
The programme started at 1:30 p.m. by welcoming the guest cum judge Dr. Nagraj N.P., a veterinary doctor in the government hospital, Kappagal.
15 students participated in the show with great excitement with their beloved pets. The participants and their pets were assessed by the judge based on the evaluation criteria, which also included requisite questions addressed by the participants and examining of the pets. The two participants with the most points in each category are awarded as the winners.
The main objective of the Pet Show was to encourage love, care, and respect for animals while giving pet owners a platform to showcase their pets. The event successfully met this goal by creating awareness about responsible pet ownership and celebrating the special bond between humans and animals. It was a joyful and educational experience for everyone involved and even some wishing to have pets in future..
