Foundation Centre I                                                                     Centre Festival 1                                                                 Date: 15 July 2026

A healthy garden is a well-maintained green space where a variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs and other plants are carefully cultivated to support healthy living and maintain environmental balance. It includes plants with different growth patterns, each contributing to the beauty and productivity of the garden. A healthy garden provides fresh and nutritious produce, improves air quality, promotes biodiversity and creates a natural environment that supports the well-being of people and the earth.

On Wednesday, 15 July 2026, the Foundation Centre - I organized a programme on the theme Healthy Garden. The main objective of the programme was to enable the children to know about to know about the plants that grows underground, above the ground, creepers and climbers.

The programme comprised of two parts - first the stage performance by the students and second the exhibition.

The programme on the stage was started by lighting the ceremonial lamp by the teachers. The sub-themes of the theme were the Underground Plants, Above the ground Plants, creepers, climbers and leafy vegetables. The programme included anchoring, dances and watching video-clips by the students. 88 students took part in this celebration which made it exciting, vibrant and meaningful to the students.

After the stage performance, students were taken to visit the exhibition where, the scenario of a healthy garden was exhibited, showcasing various plants grown and nurtured within the school campus. Students observed and learnt about different types of plants grown in the school campus too.

The Centre Festival on the theme - Healthy Garden - was a great learning experience for the students. It helped them understand the importance of plants in providing healthy food and inspired them to grow plants and develop a care for the environment.
