Independence Day Celebrations

                                                                                                               2026-2027

15th August is one of the most significant and memorable days in the history of Bharat. Every year, it is celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm as our national festival. On 15th  August 1947, Bharat finally achieved independence from British rule after a long and courageous struggle. It is our solemn duty to remember and salute our freedom fighters with gratitude and to serve our motherland with patriotism, commitment and honesty, thereby contributing to the glory and progress of our nation.

Our school celebrated the 80th Independence Day of Bharat with great love and respect on the theme “Dream, Dare, Develop: India’s Vision for Tomorrow.’’

The programme began with the importance of Independence Day and National Anthem in brief after which the Chairman Sri. K. Channappa, Sri. N. Basavaraj and Sri. Thippaiah Reddy hoisted the National flag, which fluttered humbly in the sky. The gathering saluted the National flag and honoured by singing the National Anthem with great adoration followed by march-past and the oath of the National Pledge inculcating patriotism, unity, responsibility to realise the vision of New Bharat.

The theme “Dream, Dare, Develop: India’s Vision for Tomorrow” focused on inspiring young citizens to contribute towards building the Viksit Bharat. The theme was explored through three key ideas:

a. One Vision – One Mission, highlighting unity, shared dreams and collective responsibility.

b. The India We Dreamt – The India We Built, reflecting on the freedom we enjoy today and reminding us that our rights and freedoms must be exercised with responsibility and respect for others.

c. Nation Changes with Me - emphasising the role of every individual in shaping the nation’s future.

The celebration continued with vibrant cultural programme participated by the students with great enthusiasm and confidence reflecting the spirit of patriotism and showcased their love and respect for the nation.

The celebration was further enriched by the valuable address of the esteemed guest, Sri N. Basavaraj, who shared insightful thoughts on the progress of Bharat and the responsibilities of its citizens. His inspiring words encouraged the students and the gathering to become responsible citizens and contribute actively towards the growth, development and prosperity of the nation.

The celebration reminded everyone that the freedom we cherish today is the result of the sacrifices and struggles of our freedom fighters, and that it is now our responsibility to carry their legacy forward. With the spirit of “Dream, Dare, Develop” in our hearts, let us work together with unity, courage and commitment to build a stronger, developed and glorious Bharat.
