‘Divine is Everything’. Believing in this, performing poojas and homas with sacred, sincere and pure mind and heart on the reopening day of the school is our custom. It is our culture to begin every academic year by worshipping the Divine to have a tremendous year ahead in achieving excellence in all round development of every child.

This academic year our school reopened on Wednesday, 1 June 2022. On this special occasion, the school was decorated with balloons, flowers and mango leaves to welcome students. In the morning about 7:15 a.m. priests started chanting veda mantras and slokas for Ganesha pooja and offered prayers to the Sarvantharyami. The Chief of our school Mr. K. Anil Babu along with his members of the family performed Ganesha pooja, Ganapathi homa, Saraswathi homa, Gho (Cow) pooja and Navagraha Shanti pooja with utmost devotion and diligence in our school to seek the blessings of the Divine that determine the success of everyone.

Students from classes 1 to 10 have entered the school campus with new hopes, cheers and joyful dreams. Later, all the students of classes 1 to 10 made Pradakshinas for three times around Ghomaatas (cows). These rituals filled the school environment with peace and positivity spreading holy feelings in the young hearts. The students of classes 8, 9 and 10, principal, co-ordinators, teachers, and spiritual teacher participated in the religious rituals. The students of classes 8, 9 and 10 chanted Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra, Govinda Namavali and Hanumaan Chaalisa to offer prayers to the Divine.

Teachers greeted the students of all classes and directed them to their new classrooms. In the classrooms, there was a good interaction between teachers and students regarding the summer vacation enjoyment and how they strengthened their skills in various activities. Teachers motivated the students for their plan of action to set new goals of their academic achievements.

The rituals ended at about 12:30 p.m. At the end of the spiritual programme, all the students and staff were blessed with prasadam by the priests, followed by delicious lunch.

All the students enjoyed themselves and carried the sweet memories of the first day of the school with a smile.
